150 Days of Action for Joseph the Refugee – A Call to Action
A letter from the Sisters of St Joseph of the Sacred Heart
Dear Everyone,
It’s become very apparent that the possibility of July visits to politicians for our 150 Days of Action in this Year of Joseph the Refugee is becoming more improbable with each day.
SO – We’d love it if you would be willing to pick up the original request – and the challenge – of getting our message to your local politician and Senators in whatever way you can. We know that many of you sent an earlier letter from our initial request. This is a follow up that will supplement the earlier letter and support the visit (for those of you who can do this).
Please consider taking action on one or more of the following:
- Visit to your local member
- Letter to your local member and to the Senators in your State (adapted from the one above)
- A letter by snail mail to support your email correspondence
- A phone call to the politician, using the information in the letter.
See below to download the attachments for each of the above, and another copy of the petition. We are desperately hoping for an increase in the number of signatories for the petition. Please send as widely as possible.
