Repairs and Maintenance Project
Repairs and Maintenance Project
As part of Catholic Schools Broken Bay’s (CSBB) Repairs and Maintenance project all schools will be receiving significant improvements. We are one of the schools where repairs and maintenance has commenced as of Tuesday, 9 November. A site office for workers has been set up in a demountable located in the overflow car park. All workers coming into our school will be double-vaccinated, and inducted to the site ensuring the safety of all staff, students and visitors. They will also utilise their own portable toilets.
The main items included in the works are the following:
- Redesign of school security fencing
- All Kinder classrooms – new carpet, painting
- 2 Year 1 classrooms – new carpet, painting
- 2 Year 2 classrooms – new carpet, painting
- New carpet in the Art corridor
- Painting in many areas
- Shade cloth and basketball backboards in the primary to be cleaned or replaced
- Some new gutters
The repairs and maintenance project will take close to 16 weeks to complete at a cost of approximately $645,286. In excess of $18,000,000 is being spent on our diocesan schools over the next 8 months.
