Naidoc Week 2022
This year, the official NAIDOC week fell during our school holidays (3-10 July), so once we returned to school for the start of term 3, we had our NAIDOC festivities.
Secondary enjoyed a special liturgy, and in Primary it was a full day of activities! They began the morning with a K-6 school liturgy in the church that was led by the students of 5 Wattle. After recess, the students across the primary school participated in boomerang design craft, artefacts displays, musical performances, Brolga dancing, Indigenous themed sport games, and story telling activities.
What a great way for our students to learn more about our First Nationals cultures and histories.
