Paul Kelly Cup State Finals

We were so very excited to have our Boys AFL Team qualify for the Paul Kelly Cup State Finals at Engie Stadium. The team travelled to

the home of the GWS Giants to take on the state’s best last Thursday 29 August. What a wonderful experience they had with lots of our parents and family members cheering the Boys on.

Who would have thought we would ever get to play at such an amazing stadium. Across our 3 pool games, our team was extremely competitive, lacking nothing in courage and endeavour. We purely came up against some very talented AFL players from around NSW. The team continued to improve across the day making more of our scoring opportunities as time went on.

Eli and a stray elbow made for an early end to his playing time. Izaiah was a dominant force in the middle, Lochie & Henry doing some damage up forward and a range of other players chipping in with cameo performances such as Jacob & Loui to name a couple. We look forward to backing up again in 2025 and thank all at school who watched the live stream and cheered us on. Thanks to Mr Snelling for his exuberant & inspiring coaching & to Mr Field for his support.
