Congratulations at the Rotary Awards

Last night the Rotary Club of Northlakes Toukley hosted the Business and Community Awards at the Halekulani Bowling Club.

Four of our staff were one of the several recipients of the Pride of Workmanship Awards: Michelle Baxter (Outreach Coordinator), Belinda Wells (Assistant Outreach Coordinator), Maisie Tenev (Youth Ministry Coordinator) and Sister Jiji Canillas (Augustinian nun). This group, also known as the JUMP team, were acknowledged for establishing the JUMP (Josephites Undertaking Mission Projects) program and their dedication in growing this program across our Secondary school, reaching out into the community and making a difference. This is fantastic recognition of their tireless work in community service and outreach. Our Secondary Principal, Mrs Debra Ferguson, proudly gave a speech honouring these ladies and shared their journey. Mrs Baxter was almost speechless but shared her reaction, “It is lovely being a part of so many wonderful people in our community who do extraordinary things and go above and beyond to give back. I am so grateful to have been nominated let alone receive this award.”
