Celebrating Mary MacKillop

On Wednesday 8 August, we celebrated Mary MacKillop Feast Day at the College with a beautiful mass and liturgy, community picnic on the oval, Year of Origin, a special performance from our Japanese visitors, and our annual House Challenge Festival.

Our College Principal, Mr Steve Todd, praised the support and involvement of our entire College community saying, “Our wonderful students from Kinder to Year 11 made this day very special” and “it just underpins what a uniquely blessed community we have here at MacKillop.”

Thanks to our organisers, MCs, House leaders, parents, students and staff, the day was nothing less than a tremendous display of MacKillop spirit and reminds us of what being a part of Mary MacKillop’s story is all about.
