What an action-packed fun-filled day it has been at MCC today! The morning kicked off bright and early with Gina and Matty broadcasting live from our Creative Arts area. It wasn’t long until everyone was dancing to the Year 12 Band who got to play live on air the theme for the #1 hit breakfast show as well as entertain the crowd between segments.
Students also were busy getting their hair done at the pop-up hair salon giving everyone the chance to be involved in the fundraising for Soctober – we added silly hair to this year’s event and enjoyed a breakfast sausage sandwich. Not everyone needed the salon as they came fully decked out with socks and hair beyond Crazy/Silly! Hats off to the amazing parents for helping our students get into the spirit!
Everyone enjoyed the Kindy Farm Petting Zoo, goats, guinea pigs, ducklings and rabbits talk about cuteness overload! The Wave basketball instructors were overwhelmed with eager B-ballers. Coast Magazine provided some much-needed zen to the morning with a colour in competition and EastCoast juice kept everyone hydrated!
As much as the day has been full of fun it has been for a reason which is to raise money and awareness for Catholic Mission, thank you to our community for both your generosity and continued support of this truly amazing organisation.
