Japan Tour 2018

During the school holidays twenty-seven eager Year 10 and 11 students ventured on MacKillop’s third sister school visit to Nihon Daiichi Junior School in Tokyo.

The first part of the trip included the official school visit to Nihon Daiichi with a four day home stay experience for students while attending school lessons. The second part of the trip involved travelling to Kyoto, Hiroshima and Kamakura.

Many friendships were formed and strengthened with our Japanese sister school family. Mrs Helen Beech, Japanese Coordinator, would like to send a big thank you to the staff that attended and supported the trip: Mr Steve Todd, Mr Michael Bowman, Mrs Kate Bowman, Mr Andrew Kilham, Ms Nichole Calleja, Mrs Michelle Baxter and Mrs Georgina Martin.

The students were great ambassadors of our school and we were very proud of them.
