NCCD 2021
The Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD) is an annual collection to determine the number of school students receiving an adjustment or assistance due to disability, and the level of adjustment.
By collecting this data, it allows these students to continue receiving support and gives education authorities a better understanding of the needs in order to best support students with disability at school. All personal details such as student names and other identifiers are not provided to federal education authorities to maintain privacy. The data that is collected is used facilitate a collaborative approach to improve the support to these students and increases the communication between families and schools.
