Netball State Finalists

On Tuesday 14 August, our Year 7/8 and 9/10 netball teams travelled to Maitland for the Regional Final of the NSW TAFE Schools Cup.

Our year 9/10 girls played superbly all day against some very strong competition from Newcastle and northern region schools. Winning their way to the Grand Final, they then played Hunter Sports High School and WON! This means they now qualify for the State Final of the Schools Cup to be played at Homebush later this Term. Congratulations to our year 9/10 and we wish them luck for their State Final.

Our year 7/8 team also played consistently all day in a difficult pool. They won 3 games and lost 2 – the two teams they lost to were the Grand Finalists on the day, so some very tough competition. Well done to all girls on their participation and sportsmanship on the day.
