Texstyle star!

It was a proud moment for MacKillop when Jade Riley, Class of 2018, was selected for Texstyle, an exhibition of a selection of exemplary major textile projects. All 42 of these projects are currently on display at The Muse, Ultimo TAFE, where a presentation was recently held to acknowledge all participants.

Among these high quality works, Jade’s project was selected as ‘Most Creative’, an award sponsored by S&S Wholesalers. The prize includes the privilege of her work being used as the artwork for the back cover of S&S Magazine, which is distributed to TAS faculties and primary schools throughout the east coast of Australia.

We congratulate Jade on this wonderful achievement and hope that is inspires other students in Textiles.
