Trivia Night Fun

What a great evening! Thank you to everyone that came together and had some fun whilst supporting one of our MCC Community.

There was so much more than trivia going on from bribing the Quiz masters for answers, cocktails being made by Cocktail Kev, karaoke from Lucy and Paulie, the major raffle, lucky numbers, winning socks and the very popular bottle game.

We couldn’t believe the elaborate table decorations from The Hold-Ons, Jingle Bells, The Pink Ladies and The 80s with the best dressed table going to Casino Royale.

Our MC Joe Baird did a great job keeping us going and our markers Christine, Susie and Zoe made sure every point was accounted for with the winners “Hawaiian Punch” coming home for the win by 1/2 a point and “The Pink Ladies” taking home the wooden spoon!

A massive thank you to Rebecca Sellwood for the trivia questions and bringing it all together on the night.  There were so many who helped make the night a huge success, Rebecca Stephenson, Rebecca Cooper, Olivia Curtis, Siobhan Henry, Rachel Donohoe, Lisa Boric, Christine Hibbard, Zoe Porter, Susie Baird and so many more.  Everyone gave so generously, and we were able to raise $4000 from the night.

But there is still more….Our school raffle is still on sale with tickets $2 each or 3 for $5.  It will be drawn on 25/11/22 and prizes include coffee for a year from Warnies, signed Newcastle Knights Jersey, Farm experience and vouchers to The Dam and Westfields.  So, get your tickets now by sending in your cash in an envelope labelled Raffle Ticket “Marien Family”, your name and class and we will organise for your tickets to be sent back to you and put you in the draw.

Our MCC Community is wonderfully generous, kind and compassionate.  I know Lucy is eternally grateful to be a part of this community and be supported by so many.  Thank you MCC!
