Excursion
On Friday 22 June, Year 4 went on an excursion to The Rocks in Sydney. In class, the students have been learning about Australian History, including the life and culture of Indigenous Australians, Early Explorers and British Settlement. During the excursion, students dressed up as convicts, soldiers and other British officials. They were then lead around significant areas of The Rocks by a group leader seeing original buildings, old laneways and imagined what the harbour looked like hundreds of years ago. Mrs Madeline Martin said the excursion “was a great day out and the children thoroughly enjoyed the interactive learning experience.”
